This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services. Please read this policy carefully. When you use EasyToFind, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

2. How We Use Your Information

- ✅ Improve personalization — show recommendations based on location & preferences
- ✅ Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support messages
- ✅ Analyze usage trends to enhance app performance and user experience
- ✅ Enforce our Terms & Conditions and protect against fraudulent activity
- ✅ Send OTPs for verification (via VR Smart Card partner or future direct channels)
4. Location Services & Permissions
EasyToFind requires location access to show you hyperlocal service providers, deals, and job opportunities near you. We request permission only when you first search or enable "Nearby" features. You can revoke location access anytime via your phone settings, but some features may be limited. We do not track your background location unless you actively use location-based search features.
5. OTP & SMS Communication
One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for login and verification are currently sent via our trusted partner VR Smart Card. In the future, messages may be sent directly from EasyToFind. We will never ask you to share your OTP with any service provider or third party. If someone requests your OTP, report them immediately. SMS logs are retained only for security and troubleshooting purposes.
6. Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure data storage, and regular vulnerability assessments. Your personal information is retained as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request account deletion — we will permanently anonymize or delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal/security reasons.
7. Children's Privacy
EasyToFind is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information. Parents or guardians who believe their child has submitted data should contact us immediately.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location (including under Indian IT Act, GDPR, or similar frameworks), you may have the right to:
- Access – Request a copy of your personal data we hold.
- Correction – Update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion – Request account deletion and removal of your data.
- Withdraw Consent – Opt out of marketing communications or location tracking.
- Data Portability – Receive your data in a structured format.

9. Third-Party Services
Our app may contain links to external sites or integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, map services). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email (if applicable). The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
